Troop Guide
April 2017
As a Troop Guide for National Youth Leadership Training I was responsible for teaching several team building and leadership lessons to a group of 5 teenagers. I was also responsible for giving a 90 minute presentation on team development stages to a larger group of approximately 40 individuals.
Eagle Scout Project
March 2016
In order to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, one must conduct a service project for their community. I chose to help Oaklawn Memorial Park with inspecting, replacing and retiring old and faded American flags from their Field of Flags memorial day display. This display consists of over 500 full size American flags each year.

Over the course of 2 weekends I organized a group of about 2 dozen volunteers to inspect each flag and store it properly while replacing over 200 flags that were in need of retirement. After the project I donated the flags needing retired to both the local American Legion Post and my own scout troop to ensure the flag be retired in the proper and most respectful way.
